Woodland Spider

A subspecies of Thicket Spider, the Woodland Spider is even larger than its cousin. While its habit of pouncing out of underground burrows to attack prey is frightening, what makes this spider truly terrifying is its nature as a social predator. One is bad enough, but they will often coordinate a network of traps and function as a hunting pack. If you ever spot a lone Woodland Spider in the forest, you have two options: run away as fast as you can, or close your eyes and wait for the end. Because at that point, you're likely already ensnared in your own webby grave.
